School Health Personnel
We are here to support your school
We can provide temporary or permanent Div. 1 Registered Nurses and First Aiders to meet your school health program requirements.
School Nurses provide a primary health service, which encompasses a range of programs directed toward health promotion and education, as well as identification, and prompt intervention for identified health concerns.
Our school nurses are appropriately qualified and have:

Current AHPRA Registration Division 1 Registered Nurse

Certificate IV workplace training and assessment
-
Accredited First Aid Trainer
-
Australian driver licence
-
Valid Working with Children Check
-
Current CPR certificate
-
Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
School Nursing roles include:

Provision of clinical nursing management of acute injuries and health concerns.

Referral of identified health concerns to other health services professionals where further assessment and treatment is required.

Health promotion and education activities including, but not limited to: Immunisation, safety and injury prevention, harm minimisation, nutrition, hygiene and asthma management, or any concern that presents to an individual or school community.

Liaise with parents to obtain information relating to their child’s health, parental concern and to obtain consent for treatment.
